📖 How to use Accident Tracker

🌅 Getting started

1. Create an account. Tap Join, choose whether you're a little, a caregiver, or both, and enter a display name, your email and a password (8+ characters with a letter and a number). Accident Tracker is for adults 18 and older only.
2. Confirm your email. We send you a link — tap it to open your sky. Didn't get it? Check spam, or tap Resend email on the waiting screen.
3. Turn on notifications so reminders and cheers reach you. See Notifications.
4. Connect with your caregiver or little using an invite code. See Connecting.
5. Log your first sunshine! Tap the big ☀️ button at the bottom of the screen (or Log the sky on a computer).

🧸 Littles, caregivers & both

You can change your role at any time in Settings → Profile. Accepting an invite that needs the other role switches you to Both automatically.

💛 Connecting with each other

Caregivers and littles link up with a one-time invite code, so nobody can be connected without agreeing to it.

Make an invite

1. Open My littles (Connections).
2. Tap 🧸 Invite a little (if you're the caregiver) or 🌞 Invite a caregiver (if you're the little).
3. Share the code (like SUNNY-7K4Q) or tap Copy link / Share. Codes work once and expire after 72 hours.

Use an invite

Open the invite link, or go to Connections and type the code under Have a code?, then tap Connect 💛.

Managing connections

• A little can have several caregivers, and a caregiver can have several littles.
• Caregivers can give each little a pet name — it shows everywhere instead of their display name.
• Littles can make a caregiver view-only (they can see your sky but not log or change rules), or allow logging again.
• Either person can tap End to disconnect at any time. Past logs stay in the little's sky.

☀️ Your sky: sunshines & rain clouds

Every day starts with a fresh sky. What gets logged changes the weather:

The sky at the top of your page shows today's sunshines and clouds and a mood:

• 🌅 A brand new sky — nothing logged yet today
• ☀️ Clear sunny skies — sunshines and no clouds
• 🌤️ Mostly sunny / ⛅ Sun and clouds — a mix
• 🌦️ Rainy day — more clouds than sun. That's okay. Clouds always pass. 💛

Days are counted in the little's time zone, so a caregiver in another time zone still sees the right day.

📝 Logging

Quick log (fastest)

1. On Home or a sky page, tap one of the four buttons: ☀️ Potty success, 🌧️ Accident, 🌤️ Dry check or 🧷 Diaper change. Caregivers see small buttons on each little's card.
2. Pick the details (pee, poo or both — or wet, messy, dry for changes).
3. For potty successes, tick Went all by myself if no reminder was needed — that earns a bonus.
4. Optionally pick a mood, or open Add a note or change the time to log something that happened earlier.
5. Tap Save. Sunshines get a little celebration! 🎉

Full log page

The big ☀️ Log button opens a full page. Caregivers with several littles can choose who the log is for at the top.

Fixing a mistake

• Caregivers can tap ✏️ on any log to change it, or delete it, from the sky page or History.
• Littles can fix their own logs while they're still waiting for approval. After that, ask your caregiver.
• You can't log times in the future — the sky can't predict that far! 😄

🧷 Diaper mode & checks

Every little's sky can be set up for how they live. Caregivers choose in ⚙️ Rules; littles without a caregiver choose in ⚙️ Setup on their own sky.

Doing a check

Checks build on the last reading — you just say how much wetter it is than last time.

1. Tap 🌤️ Check (or 🔍 Check on the diaper card).
2. Pick one: 👌 Same as before (or Still dry) · 💧 A little wetter (+15%) · 💧💧 Wetter (+30%) · 💦 Much wetter (+50%) · 🌊 Totally flooded. Each button shows where the readout will land.
3. Tick It's messy too 💩 if needed, then save.

Doing a hands-on check? Open Set an exact level instead and pick the level directly.

The readout

Messy diapers show 💩 alongside the wetness. The readout keeps climbing with each check until a change resets it to ✨ Dry.

🚨 I leaked

Tap 🚨 I leaked on the diaper card or check screen (or tick It leaked in the check popup). The readout jumps to Flooded, every caregiver gets an urgent alert, a change request opens, and you're taken straight to the change screen. Caregivers can log a leak for a little too.

Logging a change

Tap 🧷 Change. It uses the current reading as “before” automatically (or pick a different level), ticks There was a leak for you if one was reported, and takes one diaper out of the stash. Afterwards the diaper is back to ✨ Dry and any leak or change request is cleared.

The Current diaper card

On Home and every sky page you'll see the live state, when it was last checked and changed, and who did it. Caregivers see a quick status line on each little's card too.

Little-friendly wording

Pick a wording style in Rules/Setup: Standard (“Diaper check”, “Diaper change”), Pamps (“Pamp check”, “Pamp change”), or Little-friendly (“Big kid potty!”, “Little oopsie”, “Checkies”, “Changies”).

📣 Checkies & changies requests

Caregivers

Open 🔍 Checks in the menu to see every little's live readout side by side. Pick a quick note (or write your own) and tap 📣 Request pamp check or 📣 Pamp change time. You can also do this from a little's card on Home, their sky page, or the check screen.

Tap 📣 Request check or 📣 Change time on a little's card or sky. They get a notification right away. When a check is answered you're told the result (for example “answered your check: 40% wet”).

Littles

• When a check request arrives, tap the notification (or Answer on the diaper card), pick your state and save — that's it!
• Need help? Tap 🙋 I need a change on your diaper card and all your caregivers are told.

Requests close automatically as soon as a check or change is logged, and anyone can dismiss one that's no longer needed.

📦 Diaper stash

Keep track of what's on the shelf so you never run out.

1. Open Diaper stash and add what you have: type (diapers, pull-ups, booster pads, wipes, cream…), brand, style, size and how many.
2. Set Warn me at — when the count drops to that number, you and your caregivers get a “Running low” notification.
3. Every change logged takes one away automatically. Pick a different item on the change screen, or choose Don't count from the stash.
4. Tap + Restock when a new pack arrives, −1 used for one you didn't log, or Set count after counting the shelf.

The stash also estimates how many days you have left based on the last two weeks, and keeps an activity list of every change to the counts. Use “Use by default for changes” to choose which diaper counts down first.

✅ Habits & chores

• ⭐ Habits are things to do regularly for yourself — drink water, brush teeth, take meds, stretch.
• 🧹 Chores are jobs to help out — tidy toys, make the bed, feed the pets.

Adding one

1. Open Habits & chores and fill in the form at the bottom.
2. Choose Every day, Every week, or Just once (with an optional due date).
3. Caregivers can attach a sunshine reward and choose I need to OK it. Littles can make their own habits too — just without rewards.

Checking them off

Tap Done ✓ (also right on your Home page). If it needs an OK, your caregiver approves it on their Home page or the tasks page and the sunshines are added. Made a mistake? Tap ↺ to undo today's tick. Daily and weekly habits build a 🔥 streak; one-time chores past their due date show overdue.

👕 Wardrobe & outfits

Build the wardrobe

1. Open Wardrobe and add clothes: a name, a section (tops, onesies & rompers, pajamas, diaper covers, socks, accessories…), a color, and a photo if you like.
2. Tap 💖 Favorite to keep favourites at the top. Filter by section using the chips.

Photos are private — only you, your connected caregivers and site staff can see them. Location and camera details are removed automatically. Wardrobe photos should show clothing only; anything else may be removed.

Caregivers: pick an outfit

1. Tap 👗 Pick an outfit (on the wardrobe page or a little's card).
2. Tick the items, give it a name and an optional date, message and sunshine reward.
3. Tap 💌 Send outfit — the little is notified straight away.

Littles: wear it!

Open the outfit from the notification or your Home page and tap 🥰 I'm wearing it! (you'll get any reward) or Not today, with an optional reply. Want help choosing? Tap 🙋 Pick my outfit! on your wardrobe page and your caregivers are asked to choose.

🔥 Streaks, goals & the sunshine bank

• Sunshine bank — all the sunshines you've earned, plus any bonus sunshines from caregivers, minus what you've spent in the reward shop. If a reward request is denied, the sunshines come back.
• Sunny day — a day with at least one sunshine and no rain clouds.
• Sunny-day streak — how many sunny days in a row. Today joins the streak as soon as it's sunny, and doesn't break it until a cloud shows up.
• Best streak — your longest streak ever.
• Daily goal — the bar under your sky shows sunshines today out of the goal your caregiver set (4 by default).

⚙️ Sky rules (caregivers)

Open a little's sky and tap ⚙️ Rules. Rules are shared by every caregiver connected to that little.

From the sky page caregivers can also give 🎉 bonus sunshines (or take some away with a negative number), award a special badge, send a sticker, and export a CSV.

⏳ Approving logs

If Self-logs need an OK is on, logs a little makes show waiting for OK. Caregivers get a notification and see them at the top of Home under Waiting for your OK.

• Tap ✓ to approve — sunshines are added and the little is told.
• Tap ✕ to reject — the log stays in history marked not approved and doesn't count.

🎁 Rewards shop

Caregivers: stock the shop

1. Go to Rewards.
2. Add an emoji, a name and a cost in sunshines. Choose one little or all of them.
3. Use 🙈 to hide a reward without deleting it, or 🗑️ to remove it.

Ideas: 🍦 ice cream (10) · 📺 extra cartoon time (8) · 🛁 bubble bath (8) · 🌙 later bedtime (12) · 🎮 game night (15) · 🧸 new plushie (50)

Littles: spend sunshines

1. Open Rewards to see your sunshine bank and the shop.
2. Tap Get it! on a reward you can afford. The sunshines are set aside and your caregiver is told.
3. Your request shows as waiting → approved! → enjoyed 🎉. If it's not this time, your sunshines come back.

Caregivers approve or deny requests on Home or the Rewards page, then tap Given ✓ once the reward has been handed over.

🏅 Badges

Badges are earned automatically — the first one comes with your very first sunshine! Others unlock for collecting lots of sunshines, sunny-day streaks, going by yourself, dry checks and logging often. Caregivers can also hand out special badges like 🌦️ Brave Little Cloud.

See your collection on Badges. Locked badges are greyed out so you know what to aim for. Caregivers can switch between their littles at the top.

⏰ Potty reminders

Reminders are sent as notifications, so turn notifications on first on each device that should get them.

1. Open Reminders and choose who it's for (yourself, or a little you care for).
2. Pick a type:
   • 🔁 Every few hours — e.g. every 2 hours between 8:00 and 21:00. The timer resets after every potty trip or accident, so reminders only come when it's actually been a while.
   • 🕐 At set times — e.g. 08:00, 11:30, 15:00, 19:30 (24-hour times, separated by commas).
3. Choose the days, and optionally let caregivers know when a reminder goes out.
4. Tap Schedule reminder. Use Pause / Resume or 🗑️ any time.

Tapping a reminder notification opens the log page, and on most phones there's a ☀️ Log it button right on the notification.

🔔 Notifications

The 🔔 bell shows everything that's happened: sunshines, reminders, reward updates, badges, stickers and messages from the team. Tap one to jump to it.

Get notifications on your device

1. Go to Settings → Notifications.
2. Tap 🔔 Turn on notifications on this device and allow it when your browser asks.
3. Tap Send a test to make sure it works.
4. Repeat on every phone or computer you use.

Choose what you get

• Push notifications — on/off for all your devices.
• Tell me when someone logs — caregivers hear about every log for their littles.
• Email me — copies of important updates by email (if the site has email set up).

Under Devices receiving notifications you can remove old phones or computers.

💌 Stickers & notes

Send a little cheer! Open Stickers, choose who it's for, pick a sticker (⭐ 🌈 🦄 🧸 🏆 💖 and more) and add an optional note. They get a notification and it shows on their Home page. Caregivers and littles can send stickers both ways.

📅 History, calendar & reports

• 📒 History — every log, newest first. Filter by type, weather, status or dates. Download it as a spreadsheet with ⬇️ CSV.
• 📅 Calendar — a monthly sticker chart: ☀️ sunny days, 🌦️ more sun than clouds, 🌧️ rainy days. Tap any day to see its logs. 🖨️ Print chart makes a paper version for the fridge.
• 📈 Weather report — all-time totals, sunshine rate this week, how often you go, charts by day and by time of day, plus helpful tips. Switch between 7, 30, 90 days or a year.

Find them at the top of any sky page. Littles also have them in the More tab.

📲 Phone & desktop apps

Accident Tracker can be installed like an app so it gets its own icon, opens full screen and sends notifications.

• iPhone / iPad: Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen.
• Android: Chrome → ⋮ menu → Install app.
• Computer: click the install icon in Chrome or Edge's address bar, or download the desktop app from Get the app. The desktop app lives in your system tray with quick links to log, rewards and reminders, and can start when your computer does.

Long-press the app icon on your phone for shortcuts straight to Log a sunshine, Rewards and Reminders.

📡 Using it offline

No signal? Quick logs still work. You'll see “You're offline — saved!” and the log is kept on your device. As soon as you're back online it's sent automatically and you'll see “Synced offline logs”. Pages you open while offline show a friendly reconnecting screen.

🔐 Your account & privacy

Everything is in Settings:

• Profile — avatar, display name, pronouns, about me, role, time zone and theme (☀️ Sunny sky, 🌙 Night sky, 🌸 Pastel, or match your device).
• Change email or password — new emails are confirmed by a link. Changing your password signs out your other devices.
• Two-step sign in — adds a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password…) when you sign in. Strongly recommended.
• Sign out of all other devices — handy if you lost a phone.
• Export my data — download everything you've logged.
• Delete account — permanently removes your account and data.

Who can see my sky? You, the caregivers you've connected with, and site staff when helping with support or keeping the community safe. Nobody else. Read the full Privacy Policy.
